» all your bookmarks in one place
» bookmark things for yourself and friends
» check out what other people are bookmarking
That basically explains it. When you find a cool website or something, all you have to do is click on the delicious toolbar button and it pops up a place where you can describe the site or whatever. With everybody having a screenname, you can send links to people without copying and pasting. Get it?
Check out some of the sites ive marked (if it works without being logged in).
